4Kids Entertainment - November 2007

4Kids Entertainment International Ltd. will be attending Kazachok, Italy’s inaugural licensing forum held in Milan on November 20, 2007. 4Kids Entertainment International will showcase a number of exciting new properties as well as some of their classic brands.

The new properties include Chaotic, the next generation in trading card games, Viva Pinata, a high-energy, mass-appeal entertainment property that brings to life a vibrant world of living piñata animals to entertain and challenge imaginations, as well as, Dinosaur King and Jim Henson Designs.

“We are delighted to have a presence at the first Kazachok Forum in Italy and look forward to introducing our new properties to the Italian market, while inspiring and developing commercial opportunities with our classic brands,” said Sandra Vauthier-Cellier, Co-Managing Director of 4Kids Entertainment International Ltd.

Chaotic, which launched in the United States on October 24, is a groundbreaking new multi-platform entertainment experience which brings together in-person and online trading card gameplay. Each Chaotic Creature Card has a variable power structure, which ensures that virtually no two creature cards are alike! Players can battle opponents in person, or upload each card’s unique alphanumeric code to build their decks and play for free (with purchase of cards) online at www.ChaoticGame.com. Complimenting the Chaotic Trading Card Game is the animated TV series which airs on Saturday mornings on the US Fox network, daily on Jetix (Disney’s toon channel) and Teletoon, Canada’s leading catoon network.

Dinosaur King, a top-rated animated TV series, launched in Japan in early spring 2005. The show portrays a world in which dinosaurs roam the earth today. The trading cards are a success in Japan, with over 62 million cards sold since Fall 2005. A Dinosaur King Nintendo DS game from SEGA is set to launch in 2008, featuring exciting “dino-tastic” battles.

Also new to the portfolio is Jim Henson Designs. This magical collection of art, combined with Jim Henson’s personal and inspiring quotes, is transformed into the most refreshing collection of lifestyle products. Jim Henson Designs provides both artistic and inspiring solutions for all members of the family.

Updates on the 4Kids’ classic portfolio will also be on display, including plans for the 25th anniversary of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 2009. Additionally, 4Kids will showcase their newly-developed retro artwork for TMNT, based on the old-school look from the hugely successful 1980s TV series. Appealing to a young adult audience, this retro campaign is already a big success in the United States, which 4Kids is now looking to take internationally.

Other brands to be showcased include Viva Pinata and XBOX 360. First introduced in September 2006, the action-packed 3-D animated series Viva Piñata -- produced by 4Kids Entertainment and Bardel Entertainment -- follows the (mis)adventures of over 60 different piñata species or "animbassadors” who dream of leaving Piñata Island to entertain blindfolded party goers everywhere. Thanks to its unique premise and captivating, original animation, the colorful characters of Piñata Island quickly became one of the break-through hits of 2006, standing as one of Saturday morning’s most watched shows. The second season premiered on September 8. (Viva Piñata currently airs on 4Kids TV in the U.S. and on YTV in Canada). XBOX 360, a popular and powerful video game and entertainment system, offers the “best games” with high-definition graphics. XBOX 360 offers a collection of lifestyle products that are refective of a new generation of gamers.
