Copyright Promotions: This Year’s Double LIMA-Award Winners
Acknowledged “Best Licensing Agency of the Year 2007”

Double reason to be pleased: Copyright Promotions won even two of the coveted LIMA awards. The jury acknowledged them “Best Licensing Agency of the Year” and honoured their property “Die Wilden Kerle” as “Overall Best License of the Year”.

This year, the presentation of the awards was held as part of the glamorous LIMA Gala in Munich on 6 November 2007. Gerold Kolenbrander, Managing Director Copyright Promotions, said: “We are thrilled by these highest awards. Most of all, they acknowledge our close cooperation with right’s owners and licensees. Without them, our ambitious aims could never result in such great success.”

Katarina Dietrich, new CEO of the Copyright Promotions Licensing Group, was equally delighted: “We were able to surpass our competitors at the LIMA Awards only because our team in Munich is working really hard to ensure success”, said Dietrich. “They have done brilliant jobs for years. I am really happy that their work has finally been honoured officially.”

The Copyright Promotions team in Germany was especially pleased by the award for “Die Wilden Kerle”. “This award tells our licensees: We manage properties that have the potentials to create long-term relationships with their costumers”, said Kolenbrander. “The property has been sold in more than 20 countries worldwide and there’s still no end in sight.”

In Germany “Die Wilden Kerle” has long become a high achiever within the target group of 5- to 12-year olds. Something to look forward to for the fans: More exciting new products are in the pipeline!
