EM.Entertainment GmbH has agreed a license contract spanning several years for exploitation within the home entertainment sector on video and DVD of well-known classics from the company’s program portfolio. The package encompasses well-known children’s and youth entertainment programs, including numerous Lassie films, animation series Momo and Fievel’s American Tails and cartoons such as Felix the Cat and Betty Boop. edelkids is part of Europe’s largest independent producer of pre-recorded audio goods edel AG, based in Hamburg, Germany. The children’s label has been around for almost ten years and ranks among Germany’s biggest providers of children’s repertoire. Its strengths lie particularly in the development of licensing properties into long-term classics. Alongside the publication of audio and video products, since 2007, edelkids has also been active within the book sector. |
