Helen Fielding Appointed To Grow UK Licensing Division’s Toy, Food and Beverage categories and Catherine Murison promoted to Senior Licensing Manager for Apparel, Homeware & Health and Beauty

Entertainment Rights (ER) plc, the UK’s leading global media group specialising in the ownership of children’s and family programming, characters and brands today announced it has appointed Helen Fielding as Senior Licensing Manager and has also promoted Catherine Murison to Senior Licensing Manager.

In this newly created role Helen reports to Claire Shaw, Director of Consumer Products. She will largely be responsible for helping generate increased revenues through the sale of licenses within the UK for the entire portfolio of ER properties focusing on the toy, food and beverage categories. She will work closely with licensees, brand managers and retailers to implement licensing strategies that reflect the value and potential of ER’s brands. Key ER brands include Rupert Bear®, Postman Pat®, Jim Jam & Sunny™, Basil Brush® and Finley The Fire Engine™.

Helen joins Entertainment Rights from Granada Ventures (ITV plc) where she was International Licensing & Brand Manager heading up pre-school properties including Pocoyo, Engie Bengy and Numberjacks, both on a domestic and international level. Helen’s licensing experience includes working as Assistant Manager and Communications Synergy Manager for Disney Publishing Worldwide and Pay-Per-View Coordinator/Brand Manager, Sky Networks for British Sky Broadcasting.
