Super RTL to use Rupert Bear® to spearhead kids and families nature and environmental campaigns

Entertainment Rights Plc, the UK’s leading global media group specialising in the ownership of children’s and family programming, characters and brands, today announces that Rupert Bear® Follow the Magic™, one of its most popular pre-school brands has become an instant hit overnight in Germany. The (52 x 10) series which started airing early January is already ranked as one of the highest rating pre-school shows on Super RTL averaging a 41.4% share in its regular slot.

The successful premiere on Super RTL will now act as a springboard to build and grow the Rupert Bear® brand in Germany. There are also plans in development to launch publishing, DVD, toy and apparel programmes in 2009. Rupert Bear® will brand Super RTL’s Toggo Live nationwide tour throughout 2008 and the property will become a central attraction on www.TOGGOLINO.de from April 2008 onwards.

Rupert Bear® - Follow The Magic™ had is first broadcast on Five’s Milkshake! in November 2006 and has since become an international success with sales in 107 countries.
