TV-Loonland's comedy duo Pat & Stan starts rolling

ARD / HR and MEDIASET lead the list of broadcast deals

TV-Loonland today announced an impressive slate of international broadcast sales for its multi-formatted CGI-property Pat&Stan. Amongst those to snap up the show are leading Italian broadcaster Mediaset and Germany's ARD / HR. Pat&Stan will also be airing on Ki.Ka.

Furthermore, Pat&Stan has been licensed to Cartoon Network Spain, Disney India, VOOM HD Networks/Animania USA, DR TV Denmark, TG4 Ireland and Minimax for Eastern Europe. In Italy Pat&Stan have already found DVD distribution with DNC.

A co-production between the highly-acclaimed French animation producer MacGuff and TF1 in France, Pat&Stan is comprised of an 'Indiana Jonesesque' half hour TV Special, a total of 350 of whacky shorts, karaoke skits and gags and the 39 x 7' series, currently in production and set for delivery at the end of 2008.

Made famous by their performance of 'The lion sleeps tonight' - seen by more than 20 million individuals worldwide so far and making it the 10th most watched video on YouTube in 2006, the universality of Pat&Stan has been given additional recognition by a Pulcinella Award nomination for "Best TV Special" at this years Cartoons on the Bay Festival in Italy.

Created by renowned French animator, Pierre Coffin, Pat&Stan is a fun-loving buddy show with its two characters taking daily life situations to the silliest of extremes. Like two peas in a pod, the tireless twosome manages to turn even the most commonplace events into the craziest of adventures! The core target group of the funny TV-series is kids aged between 6 and 9 years.
