Copyright Promotions inspires with The Tale of Despereaux ...

The little mouse with his large ears has already inspired millions of readers worldwide and is now another exciting movie highlight for the successful Copyright Promotions portfolio. Despereaux is a tiny mouse born with huge ears and extraordinary senses. Most of the time he is above all ordinary things and lives his own life full of verve and optimism. What makes him especially odd is – he prefers reading books and papers to eating them! One day he decides to become a knight and gentleman to defeat the negative and dark atmosphere around him. He wants to bring sunshine back to the dark kingdom of Dor. The popular children’s book has been translated into 27 languages and made the New York Times bestseller lists for more than 100 weeks. Universal Pictures and Larger than Life Productions now translated the multiple award-winning story into a fantastic animated movie. The movie is scheduled for theatrical release on 29 January 2009. The family film for young and old mainly targets boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 12 and provides licensees with many exciting new opportunities.

Copyright Promotions tames terrible Henry...

Life would be terribly boring if all children were well-behaved all the time. That’s why we need Henry. Henry loves thinking up one trick after the other. Most of the time, he plays his jokes on his parents or his little brother, who is named Perfect Peter (of all things). No matter where – at home, at his friend’s, at school – he always has the perfect trick in store. And don’t you think any other third-grader would also resist his parents, when they plot to poison him with carrots? They even begrudge him his second bag of crisps! At peak times more than 500.000 children aged 3 to 9 watched the 52 x 11 minutes episodes of Henry on KI.KA. From the end of May, Henry starts making trouble on ZDF – each Saturday at 7 am. The extremely positive responses of children form a perfect basis for a large licensed product portfolio throughout the categories. Children love Henry – after all, which child doesn’t want to be terrible from time to time?
