Rendered in brilliant color, the animated series combines a variety of musical styles and mnemonic songs to create a fun and educational experience that is especially paced for young children. In addition to traditional preschool activities, this new series places special emphasis on social skill awareness, fine motor skill development and good parent/child communication. The monkeys also read a story and introduce the alphabet, shapes, words, numbers and colors. Designed for a diverse audience of children and parents, Meet the Monkeys also introduces viewers to a number of Spanish words in both the video and the printable materials. DVD extras add to the fun and educational experience with printable learning tools for parents and children including flashcards, coloring exercises, achievement awards, parent/child activities and easy, kid friendly recipes, in addition to two lively music videos. It’s Monkey Time! is the first children’s project from Satterwhite, a home entertainment industry veteran who most recently served as COO at Genius Products. He joined Genius after tenures as Vice President at Take Two Interactive and Warner Home Video. “It’s Monkey Time! reflects my passion to not only give kids a healthy entertainment option, but one that is an affordable, quality content alternative that truly allows parents to turn playtime into learning time,” said Satterwhite. “Our objective in making the series was to create a healthy entertainment environment that provides a platform for nurturing early parent/child learning relationships,” said Snyder. “Having met that objective we are thrilled to offer the preschool marketplace a unique new product.” |
