RC2: New Lamaze Highlights From the USA’s Most Popular Infant Toy Range

RC2 - August 2008

In 2009 RC2 will again provide amazing new products for their popular LAMAZE toy range that has already won several awards in the USA. During their first year, infants develop their senses and learn through watching, listening, touching, smelling and gripping. Again and again but always new and different RC2 meets infant’s demands with their LAMAZE product line. Developed in conjunction with paediatricians, and reviewed by child development experts and parents alike, LAMAZE product concepts are designed to support and promote early development. All products adapt to the changing needs of growing infants. To ensure best quality RC2 LAMAZE product designers work together with Yale University child development specialists Drs. Jerome and Dorothy Singer to celebrate developmental “firsts”. For more information please visit www.lamaze.org. Each LAMAZE article is loaded with age-appropriate and stimulating developmental features. In materials as well as colours, functions and features, all products perfectly adapted to children’s different stages of development.

That’s the secret of the RC2’s unique product design. Consumers easily recognize LAMAZE products by age suggestions and colour symbols on the outsides. White, open packages catch consumer’s eyes on the shelves. In addition, RC2’s offers retailers an appealing wooden cabinet for high quality presentation. For 2009, RC2’s launched 14 new LAMAZE products under their umbrella brand Learning Curve. All new products will be showcased at the Kind + Jugend in Cologne, Germany, including the new multifunctional LAMAZE Lights & Sounds Flower Pot, developed to stimulate visual perception. The colourful flower made of soft plush with contrast pedals, bendable stalk and funny musical sounds can be easily attached to the infant’s cot, to the pram for on the way and even serves as a lamp.
