World's Leading Maze Designer to go Interactive

Specialist interactive games and content licensing agency AT New Media has announced its appointment as the worldwide interactive and games licensing agency for Adrian Fisher.

As a result of this appointment AT Brands - which provides services for brand owners and is headed up by Simon Kay - is currently looking for developers and publishers to bring this fantastic puzzling content to market. The company has come up with ideas for Apple iPhone, Microsoft XBOX Live Arcade, Nintendo Wii and DS, and AT hopes the amazing portfolio of intellectual property on offer will become an inspiration to the games community. Enquiries for board games, puzzles, and electronic games are also welcomed.

Adrian Fisher himself is internationally recognised as the world's leading maze designer, having created more than 500 full-size mazes across 30 countries on 6 continents. He is the most prolific maze designer in the history of mankind and is six times designer of the world’s largest maze. His company has created half the world's mirror mazes and he designed the world's first cornfield maize maze in 1993 and hundreds since. He has also set numerous Guinness World Records. He is the most prolific designer of hedge mazes in the history of gardening, and has invented Water Mazes, Walk-through Parting Waterfalls and Foaming Fountain Gates in mazes.

Examples of his work can be seen at Legoland Windsor England, Edinburgh Zoo Scotland, Chateau de Colombier France, Sigurta Gardens Italy, Hamburg Dungeons Germany, Mall of Georgia USA, Navy Pier Chicago USA, Noah’s Ark Wisconsin USA, Skyline Caverns Virginia USA, Ibn Battuta Mall Dubai, Grand Gateway China, Cheju Island South Korea, Ripley’s Thailand, Space Adventure Hyderabad Pakistan, and in Japan at Sembo Park and Tobu Zoo, amongst many others.

He also designs puzzles for the World Puzzle Championships and even invented and created 15 original puzzles for the Championships between 2000 and 2006. He has had over 400 Puzzles and Colour Mazes published internationally in magazines and newspapers and has written over a dozen books.

He appears frequently on international television, including CNN, ABC, NBC and CBS networks in the USA, Canada, Britain, Germany, Switzerland and Japan. He serves on the European Board of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).

His mazes have appeared in The Smithsonian, National Geographic World, People Magazine, The Sunday Times Magazine, Der Spiegel, Maison et Jardin, and over 200 other magazines and newspapers worldwide. Colour photographs from his extensive High Resolution (13MB) Digital Photo Library have been published in many of the world's leading magazines and newspapers, as well as to illustrate his own books.

“Mental Fitness is as important as Physical Fitness, and nothing is finer than a daily puzzle to stimulate the grey cells!” said Adrian Fisher. “Each of us discover about the world around us in different ways, relying more or less on each of the four classic learning modes. Well-crafted puzzles develop all four modes, thus increasing problem-solving skills and mental capabilities. And they’re such fun!”

Simon Kay, Business Development Director of AT New Media, said “It is very rare to come across such an abundance of intellectual property that has remained untouched to this degree. The chance to bring what is such an astonishing amount of maze and puzzle assets to market could not be passed up. I have been involved in this market for a long time and it is not often such an abundance of content remains available. The interactive games and puzzle market has a lot to gain and learn from Adrian Fisher. It is not just about what he has developed to date, as this encompasses the opportunity to work with Adrian on his current and future concepts which are ongoing and potentially never ending”.
