With the feature film “Winx Club – Das Geheimnis des Verlorenen Königreichs” (“Winx Club – The Secret of the Lost Kingdom”), the Gruenwald brand management and media company m4e AG celebrated a successful start in cinema marketing. The feature film distributed by m4e, based on the successful TV series “Winx Club”, which is broadcast on the Nickelodeon channel, started very successfully last Thursday in 331 cinemas throughout Germany. Including previews, the film registered a total of approx. 84,000 admissions on the first weekend. That meant it was the second-best newcomer this week - ranked 5th on the German cinema charts.

“With ‘Winx Club – Das Geheimnis des Verlorenen Königreichs’, m4e has entered the area of film disrtribution for the first time and is thus consistingly implementing its 360° approach. It is our objective, to market the m4e brands via all marketing channels and, as a result, to guarantee that all partners are provided with a coordinated and controlled marketing which is target group-oriented. We are extremely pleased that this first m4e film which started very ambitiously with a total of 331 copies has already exceeded our expectations.

The subsequent DVD and televison marketing of the film in 2009 will also be handled directly by m4e. Based on the success, we expect additional profit potential here”, says Hans-Ulrich Stoef, CEO of m4e AG.
