m4e AG launches home entertainment label

m4e AG - September 2008

The Gruenwald brand management and media company m4e AG has announced the launch of its own home entertainment label. In future, all m4e properties as well as its own productions will be marketed via m4e Home Entertainment. The company already gained its first experiences with the VHS and DVD release of the Japanese animated hit TV-show "Detective Conan", which was marketed in 2005.

As the sales partner for the new m4e label, at the same time a sales partnership was concluded with Eurovideo. Through the cooperation with Eurovideo, one of the top independents in the German home entertainment area, optimal distribution of the m4e products will be ensured.

The start signal for the first release will already be given in October with the distribution of the new TV series "Storm Hawks", which is currently being successfully broadcast by the RTL II channel. Among others, further titles will include the feature film “Winx Club – Das Geheimnis des Verlorenen Königreichs” or the TV show “Huntik”.

"We are delighted and proud that with Eurovideo we have been able to sign up an outstanding sales partner for our new home entertainment label. We feel sure that we will be able to successfully fill a label with our content”, says Hans Ulrich Stoef, CEO of m4e AG.

"Developing a label of our own for home entertainment is an important strategic step for us in line with our marketing approach. With titles like "Storm Hawks", "Winx Club", or "Huntik", to mention just a few, we would like to establish ourselves in the long term in the market. Of course, oursales partner Eurovideo, which will energetically support us, also has a very important role to play there”, explains Arnold Scheele, Senior Brand & Sales Manager at m4e AG.

„For EuroVideo the distribution of the m4e DVDs is an very exciting and varying task. The longstanding know-how in brand management that m4e yields will support our competence and experience in DVD distribution – a symbiosis that promises to be very successfully!” Ulrich Raum, General Manager of EuroVideo Bildprogramm GmbH, is looking forward to the cooperation.
