Death Note Movie Theatrical Distribution And Home Video Release in Hungary

The Licensing Machine, a new division of Panini UK, engaged in TV, Home Video, Promotional, Merchandise, Marketing and Licensing Services and Elemental Media & Merchandising, an affiliate of Mangafan Publishing LLC. - communicate their agreement for the Hungarian market on the Japanese film Death Note, the two part live-action movie - based on the popular manga - and released in Japan in 2006 directed by Shūsuke Kaneko.

The first movie will launch in three major theatres with the premiere being on September 25th at the prestigious Cinema Festival (www.moziunnep.hu) that will take place from the 25th to the 28th. Backed by a strong campaign in all forms of media, including TV and magazine ads, reviews in cinema-related press and events, the show is already receiving large attention. After one month in major cinemas in Budapest, the movie will tour large cities in Hungary as well. The DVD will be released in November, together with the launch of the second installment in cinemas.
