And the Winner is ….

The 8th presentation of the LIMA Germany Awards was held as part of the annual LIMA Gala on November 4th at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, Germany. Again, the association’s members had cast their votes and decided on outstanding achievements in the licensing and merchandising industry in Germany. They recognized High School Musical as Best Overall License of the Year; Agency of the Year 2008 is Super RTL. Fiat 500 „We love“ was announced Licensed Product of the Year and the 2008 UEFA European Football Championship was honoured as Brand of the Year. Winner of the Retailer of the Year award was Drogerie Müller. The award Licensee of the Year goes to even to companies: TV Mania GmbH and United Labels AG both received the same number of votes, so that LIMA Germany decided to award each with the beautiful, coveted glass trophy. Promotion of the Year is Thomas and Friends – a multi-partner campaign by Super RTL.
