4KIDS and 4Sight Solutions businesses across the EMEA region

4Kids Entertainment International Ltd., the London-based subsidiary of 4Kids Entertainment, Inc., a global provider of children's entertainment and merchandise licensing, has promoted Sandra Vauthier-Cellier to the post of Managing Director. Ms. Vauthier-Cellier will have oversight of all the activities of the combined UK and International teams, which includes sales, retail & promotions, marketing and acquisitions, across the UK, Continental Europe and the Middle East and Africa. She will continue to be based in the London office and report to Roz Nowicki, EVP Marketing and Licensing, 4Kids Entertainment, Inc., based in New York.

Olivia Mellett becomes Executive Director of Finance and Operations and will continue to work on the EMEA business with Ms. Vauthier-Cellier. She will focus on all financial, legal and operational activity for the EMEA region, reporting to Peter Bloom, Vice President, Finance, 4Kids Entertainment, Inc. in New York. Ms. Mellett joined 4Kids Entertainment in August 2004. Previously, she served as Financial Controller at Live Nation (Music) UK Limited.

“Since joining 4Kids in 2005, Sandra Vauthier-Cellier has been instrumental in growing our international business and mapping out new international strategic initiatives for 4Kids,” said Ms. Nowicki. “She’s played a major role in organizing the sales and marketing structure to increase efficiency and raise performance, developing a network of local market representatives and putting in place a successful international multi-format business model to promote 4Kids’ represented brands internationally. She has managed the Yu-Gi-Oh! And Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles brands across the EMEA and has spearheaded the expansion of the MoD’s RAF brand beyond the UK into international markets.”

“Merging the UK and international teams into one will provide a great opportunity for us to expand our international business further,” said Ms. Vauthier-Cellier. “Integrating these operations, which represent two of the fastest growing segments of our company, will enable 4Kids to respond more quickly to market changes and requirements and maximize all our international licensing opportunities.”

Prior to joining 4Kids, Ms. Vauthier-Cellier launched the Mary Kate and Ashley brand across mainland Europe for the Beanstalk Group and worked in marketing and communications for the electronic division at the French retailer E Leclerc.

"I am very happy to take on this new role where I am confident that I can continue to increase the success of the 4Kids business on a European, regional and local level,” added Ms. Vauthier-Cellier. “Creating a single European team positions 4Kids to focus on licensee and retail relationships in these key territories to build our mutual businesses. This re-alignment gives us the flexibility to respond quickly as market conditions warrant, as well as to identify innovative opportunities for our partners in the licensing world.”
