HABA: The aroma of Christmas biscuit hangs in the air

HABA - November 2008

Before Christmas, Angel Lina has her hands full baking biscuits in the Angel’s Bakery. Only good that cat Rufus helps her. Süße Engelsbäckerei (5368 - Sweet Angel’s Bakery) is a seasonal cookbook by HABA with heavenly illustrations by Martina Leykamm featuring 16 recipes for young and old angels with a sweet tooth. In addition, the unique book provides lovely stories for the young. Cookies will be perfectly well-shaped when using these six suitable cookie cutters made of stainless tin with a safety seam. They come in a beautiful Engelsbäckerei (8290 – Angel’s Bakery) tin, which may also serve as cookie storage tin.

To decorate your window sill or dining table HABA designed a host of curly-haired angels. These heavenly messengers start their journey to young and old Christmas fans from Bad Rodach in Germany. With a heart (8282), a gift (8283), or a star (8284) – all angels are made of fine beech wood with plastic wings. The bright angel with child’s wagon (8281) pulls a tea candle in a glass cup. And even two crazy friends mingle with the meek host of angels: Engelina (8289) and Angelita (8288) colour up you holidays. All HABA angels are very likely to become everybody’s favourite Christmas decorations!

And those who prefer to decorate their windows or Christmas trees with heavenly creatures will certainly love the three new HABA ornament sets: Himmelsglück (8304), Engelstraum (8306) and Engelsklang (8307). All consist of two fabric ornaments – an angel and a star or bell.

The loveable Advent calendar moose Bruno (4239) spreads seasonal joy without wings but large antlers instead: His velour head is hook-and-loop fastened to a wooden board and his antlers carry 22 fillable packages. Gifts for the 6th and 24th December may be hidden in Bruno’s colourful scarf.
