He is a curious little puppy. He looks funny. And he experiences loads of exciting adventures with his friends. Gustav is the main character of a new story series featured in each issue of the magazines ELTERN and ELTERN family. The double-page stories inspire children and their parents to snuggle up on the couch for a cosy reading session. Gustav is a creation by the illustrator Carola Holland. Equally cute are Gustav’s animal friends: the big-mouth frog Quaker, Bubibatz the little cat, Bromse Bear and the grand Gitti von Gans. All stories are written by famous children’s authoress Angelika Glitz.

With love of detail the renowned toys manufacturer sigikid has now designed a plush collection to the heroes of these exciting adventures. From December the black-and-white plush dog Gustav will be exclusively available for order at the ELTERN Webshop. The whole collection will be presented at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in February 2009 and hit retail shelves in March. The highly detailed and cuddly soft plush characters are ideal for hugging, but their compact size of 14 cm also invites their little fans to play out the funny Gustav stories.
