Tanja Birkmann has been named Senior Manager Sales for Disney Consumer Products (DCP) in Germany, Switzerland and Austria (GSA). Reporting to Jay Visconti, Vice President Sales, DCP GSA, Birkmann will be responsible for driving Disney product sales in several accounts such as TRU, Muller, Karstad and Kaufhof.

Birkmann joins Disney after more than 15 years experience in the entertainment industry where she covered multiple positions both in sales and marketing departments within leading companies such as Sony and Hasbro. Most recently, Birkmann held the position of National Key Account Manager for MGA Entertainment where she was responsible for the management of major retailers such as Amazon, Hoffmann, Vedes and Kaufland.
