Bang on the Door launch new FABric Animals Stationery range Exclusively in WH Smith

BRANDORA News - January 2009

Bang on the Door™ are launching their new brand FABric Animals™ with an exclusive stationery range in WH Smith on the 12th January 2009. The range will be stocked in WH Smith’s top 240 stores.

FABric Animals™ is the latest brand from the renowned design company Bang on the Door™. Based on the original Bang on the Door™ Animals, created 21 years ago for t.shirts on Camden Market, this collection of characters utilises photography and three dimensional depictions of the original animals. The fabrics used are recycled and reclaimed giving the look a unique style. The product range is set to expand in 2009 to include gaming cases, apparel, plush and calendars. FABric Animals can be found wandering around the Bang on the Door website, www.bangonthedoor.com where you can send an E-card, download a screensaver or print out an animal and design your own FAB fabric pattern.

The stationery range, manufactured under license by Blueprint Collections Ltd, consists of 30 items including lever arch files, pencil cases, pens, notebooks and door hangers. Wherever possible and appropriate, products are made from sustainable materials and includes messages such as “turn your TV off at the wall” and “recycle your old clothes” to encourage environmental awareness.

Karen Duncan, Director at Bang on the Door Ltd says, “We are delighted to have WH Smith’s supporting the launch of our new FABric Animals brand.
