4Kids Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: KDE), the diversified children’s entertainment and media organization, has signed broadcast agreements with RTL2 (Germany) and Digiturk (Turkey) to air the first season of the popular Chaotic animated TV series, as well as agreements with TEN Network (Australia), MBC (Middle East Broadcasting) and Rede TV (Brazil) to air the series’ second season, entitled “Chaotic: M’arrillian Invasion,” it was announced today by Brian Lacey, Executive Vice President, International, 4Kids Entertainment.

This follows the recent pickup of Chaotic’s second season by TELETOON in Canada and Disney/Jetix Latin America.

Chaotic (Season One) began airing on Jetix in the UK in early January and is scheduled to launch on RTL2 in Germany early in the second quarter 2009, while the adventure series begins broadcast on Gulli TV in France during the first quarter 2009. Chaotic has a global broadcast lineup which also includes RTBF (Belgium), SIC (Portugal), MNet (South Africa), and Kids Central (Singapore) among others.

In the United States, both Chaotic series have aired Saturdays in “TheCW4Kids” five-hour Saturday morning children’s program block on The CW Television Network and are available for VOD viewing on the Comcast, Cox and Bresnan cable systems.
4Kids partnered with TELETOON Canada and Bardel Entertainment to produce the first season of the Chaotic TV series. Produced in high definition, the series chronicles the adventures of two teenage boys who discover that the Chaotic trading card game they’ve been playing transports them to Chaotic, a parallel universe where the game comes to life. They quickly realize that the unique codes on their trading cards are actually scans of real, living creatures with unique powers from the realm of Perim. The boys then use these fierce and fascinating beings to help further their gaming skills as they capture the codes of new creatures, new battle gear – even new locations in which to compete.
