The new deal is with leading games manufacturer Drumond Park Group. The license will include an electronic board game, handheld electronic game, travel, card and board games, interactive DVD television game and table top electronic game. A selection of the products will be available at retail from July onwards. The fast paced, high-tension game-show stars members of the public competing to win life-changing sums of money, from twenty spectacular The Colour of Money cash machines. Each machine is randomly pre-programmed to issue set amounts of money. With no two machines containing the same value - and the risk of a machine locking-down – The Colour of Money is set to become television’s most thrilling gaming event. Aysha Kidwai, International Merchandise & Licensing Director, ITV Global Entertainment said: “We’re delighted to be announcing that The Colour of Money’s first consumer product deal will be with Drumond Park. They are an extremely impressive organisation and one which has established very successful products for ITV’s ‘Family Fortunes’ and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. We are currently busy developing a range of consumer products that carry the tension and excitement of the game” “We’re very excited about the The Colour of Money license” said Claire McCool, Marketing Director and co-founder of Drumond Park. “We’re certain the concept will catch the interest and imagination of both viewers and game-players throughout the world, and will adapt perfectly to games in many formats. We are looking forward to working closely with the team at ITV Global Entertainment in developing a comprehensive range of The Colour of Money products, designed to appeal to a worldwide audience.” |
