ZDF Enterprises sells THE ELEPHANT PRINCESS to Nickelodeon International

Tween Live Action Series to Air Across Europe, Africa & Latin America

ZDF Enterprises and global kids’ channel, Nickelodeon have signed a deal for tween live action series, THE ELEPHANT PRINCESS from Jonathan M. Shiff Productions. The Elephant Princess will air on Nickelodeon channels across Europe, including the UK, Africa and Latin America. At the same time, the network acquired the rights to the series impressive all media roll-out (http://www.zdf-enterprises.de/tep/allmedia/). As part of the deal, Nickelodeon has secured rights to extensive online content for its channel web sites and will roll out content in coordination with the on-air launch. THE ELEPHANT PRINCESS will first premiere on Nickelodeon in the UK in Spring 2009.

The Elephant Princess is a 26 x 30-minute series starring Emily Robins as Alex Wilson, an apparently ordinary teenage girl who discovers that she has magical powers and is the heir to the throne of the enchanted kingdom of Manjipoor. The Elephant Princess is produced by Jonathan M. Shiff Productions for ZDF, Network Ten and ZDF Enterprises who are also in charge of the worldwide distribution.
