Jean-Philippe Randisi Names Managing Director Of Nickelodeon And Viacom Consumer Products International

Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP), a division of MTV Networks (MTVN), today announced that Jean-Philippe Randisi, Managing Director, Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, will, effective immediately, assume responsibility for all NVCP’s international operations outside the US as Managing Director, Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products International. Randisi’s new role reflects the division’s rapid international expansion into new markets and the growth of international licensing partnerships. Based in London, Randisi will continue to report to Leigh Anne Brodsky, President, Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products.

In his newly expanded role, Randisi oversees consumer product licensing efforts across all international markets, retail partnerships and key client relationships such as Mattel, THQ and Paramount. He also directs all strategic planning and business operations for NVCP’s international operations and the management of NVCP offices in New York, Miami, Toronto, London, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Singapore, Seoul, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Randisi’s licensing group includes an international brand management team, international category team and local sales and retail teams.

As the Managing Director of NVCP’s international operations, Randisi will focus on new strategic initiatives which include growing MTV licensing opportunitiesand further retail development. Randisi and his team of licensing executives, in collaboration with MTVN’s international brands, align consumer product activities to drive new business initiatives, share best practices, product development, and distribution around NVCP’s extensive portfolio of properties including multi-billion dollar franchises, Dora the Explorer, Go! Diego! Go! SpongeBob SquarePants and South Park.

Randisi joined NVCP in 2003 where he established the London office which has grown to include four dedicated offices across Europe and become NVCP’s largest division. In 2008, Randisi’s role was expanded to include consumer product operations in Canada and Latin America. Under Randisi’s leadership, NVCP’s international business has become one of MTVNI’s fastest growing divisions and his team has grown Nickelodeon’s hit properties, SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer into iconic award-winning brands in markets such as the UK, Germany and France.
