Studio100 Media appoints Peter Kleinschmidt to Director Marketing, Licensing & Merchandising

Studio100 Media GmbH, a subsidiary of Belgium’s leading family entertainment group Studio100, has appointed Peter Kleinschmidt as Director Marketing, Licensing & Merchandising as of March 2009. Most recently he served as Managing Director for CTM Concept – TV & Merchandising GmbH based in Munich.

At Studio100 Media – with its extensive portfolio of well-known licensing brands such as Vicky the Viking, Maya the Bee, Dive Olly Dive! and The House of Anubis – Kleinschmidt will be responsible for Marketing, Licensing and Merchandising. He reports directly to Patrick Elmendorff and Hans Bourlon, Managing Directors of Studio100 Media.

Peter Kleinschmidt first gained experience in the licensing business in the 1990s working at the former EM-Entertainment GmbH where he served as Account Manager. In 1996, he joined CTM Concept – TV & Merchandising as Director Licensing and also held that position during his time with Universal Studios Consumer Products Merchandising GmbH. Peter Kleinschmidt returned to CTM Concept – TV & Merchandising in 1999 as Vice President Marketing & PR and was also responsible for the acquisition of licensing rights. In 2006 he was appointed Managing Director of the company.
