The company is to announce that the famous polar bear will also make the leap to the big screen as the star of a feature-length film in 3D Stereoscopic

BRB Internacional is presenting at the MIPTV in Cannes the third season of its famous animated TV Series Bernard. This third season consists of 52 new Hi-Def 3D episodes starring the curious polar bear and his particular form of comedy – slapstick without dialogue. The new season will be ready for broadcast this year. Also, the series will be available for marketing in two different formats, either by individual episodes or by thematic blocks. Likewise, BRB will be announcing at MIPTV the first full-length film based on the series, to be done in 3D stereoscopic film format (for 3D glasses) and premiered in summer, 2012.

This third season of Bernard (52 x 3’) continues the funny adventures of the famous polar bear whose proclivity for suffering any kind of situations has garnered him a loyal global following. In this case, our friendly protagonist Bernard is featured trying to keep fit exercising, testing himself to get a healthy life and balanced diet, being obliged to build up a team or pushed to follow the rules... Be that as it may, these 52 new sketches -52 lessons on How Not to practice sports with Bernard - can be grouped with those from the earlier seasons of the TV phenomenon Bernard to form thematic blocks consisting of 39 13-minute episodes each.

In addition to the jump to feature-length 3D film in 2012, this year BRB will launch its first TV movie and Special for DVD, My Friend Bernard (1 x 70’). This time, Bernard will have a new co-star: Sam, a shy boy who’s afraid of almost everything –those strange shadows in his room at night, that noisy street he has to cross on the way to the school, or, even worst, to meet this small fierce dog-. Now, Sam and Bernard are going to live the funniest adventure of their life.

Both the third season of Bernard TV series and the full-length TV film My Friend Bernard are being co-produced by Screen 21, BRB Internacional and RG Animation.
