Brandissimo! announced today the promotion of two key executives to better manage the company’s continued growth in its online games and virtual worlds business. Executive Vice President and General Manager Andy Babb was named president. Vice President Josh Fisher was promoted to Executive Producer and Senior Vice President of Content. Additional promotions and new staff members will be announced in the next few weeks. In making the announcement, Brandissimo! CEO David Snyder said, “Andy Babb is a talented executive whose business acumen and zest for creativity have steered our company on a path of significant growth. Josh Fisher is simply one of the strongest creative executives I've ever worked with. With Andy's continued leadership and Josh's proven ability to break new ground in children’s entertainment, I'm confident we're destined to achieve even greater success as we continue to build Brandissimo! and our reputation in the industry.” Andy Babb has served as Executive Vice-President and General Manager for Brandissimo! since July 2007. Under his leadership, Brandissimo! produced the online MMOG "NFLRUSH Zone" for the National Football League, which has acquired over 1,300,000 registered users in its first 15 months. “I am extremely proud of Brandissimo! and of our continued achievements,” said Babb. “Not only do we offer brands the ability to emotionally connect with their consumers through high-quality traditional media and addictive online games, we also offer a proven track record in helping those brands draw in new users.” Prior to joining the company, Babb held senior management, business development and marketing positions at video game publishers including Take-Two Interactive (2K Games), SegaSoft, TDK Mediactive and In-Fusio. Since 1997, he has published over 150 video games on console, handheld, online, PC and mobile platforms. Babb holds his B.A. degree from UCLA and M.B.A. degree from Stanford University. Josh Fisher is an Emmy Award-winning executive who created and co-founded Urbaniacs.com, an online social community and gaming site in the form of a comic book world come to life. “I’m thrilled to take on more responsibilities at Brandissimo!”, said Fisher. “We have an exceptionally talented team of artists and producers that take great pride in the shows, games and online worlds we are creating.
