![]() Licensing International Expo 2009 partners with Onebox Productions, a top industry fashion show production company, to create the show's first ever series of live fashion performances. From T-shirts and sneakers to contemporary sportswear and high street fashion, apparel licensing continues to be a tremendous area of brand diversity and growth for countless exhibitors at the premier marketplace for the $191 billion global licensing industry. Produced by Onebox Productions, the three daily runway shows allow various exhibitors the opportunity to highlight their diverse apparel and accessories offerings, while creating an engaging, interactive experience for retailers and manufacturers. The runway shows will take place within the 7th Avenue Fashion Pavilion, an area on the show floor dedicated to fashion and apparel. Exhibitors in this area include Beverly Hills Polo Club International LLC, Crew Only Clothing Company, Monnalisa SPA, Skin Industries and Sonia Dixon. The shows will run daily at 10 AM, 12 PM and 2 PM. The midday show will be fully sponsored by one exhibitor, while the others will feature a collection of exhibitors from the worlds of fashion, entertainment, sports, lifestyle and beyond. "With annual global sales expected to top $40 billion this year, demand for licensed apparel has never been stronger. Whether its branded merchandise tied to Hollywood's hottest titles or a comprehensive direct-to-retail collection from a major sports franchise, consumers continue to take comfort in familiar celebrities, products and properties," noted Georgiann DeCenzo, Advanstar Communications executive vice president. "Each year, thousands of attendees come to Licensing International Expo looking to discover 'what's next' and the addition of the runway performances is only one of a number of offerings to be introduced this June as a means of making that experience even richer."
