Target Entertainment Group – Licensing International Preview

BRANDORA Editorial Staff - May 2009

Target Entertainment Group’s major focus at this year’s Licensing International will be its recently announced PlayStation® games deal. The UK-based production and rights management company signed an agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) in April to act as the consumer products agent for PlayStation® software IPs (Intellectual Properties) in Europe and Australasia.

At the show, Target will be looking to sign up prospective licensees across numerous categories for a range of these exciting titles including LittleBigPlanet™, EyePet™, WipEout®, God of War® and Buzz!™. Target will also be looking for sub agents to work on the PlayStation® account in Australia and across Europe.

Other properties Target will be representing at Licensing International include the boy’s action comedy series StormHawks, family feature film The Nutcracker: The Real Story and pre-school animation Fluffy Gardens.

Attending Licensing International on behalf of Target Entertainment Group will be Helen Howells, Global Brands Director; Sam Kelly, Head of Licensing and Ozen Kazim, Territory/Category Manager. Target will be operating from stand no 2803.
