The TCG launch will be followed by the German premiere of the Chaotic TV series beginning Tuesday, June 2 on RTL2 at 1:00 PM and is scheduled to air Mondays through Thursdays. The TV series will also be supported by a strong Web presence through a dedicated Chaotic microsite on the RTL2 kids’ Website - www.pokito.de - providing episode guides, downloads, games and links for kids to find out more about Chaotic. Additionally Chaotic will also be featured on “My Pokito,” the daily interactive kids’ show on RTL2, where a special themed Chaotic week has been taking place. Chaotic is the first trading card property specifically designed to combine trading card game play with a unique online multiplayer video game experience. Each Chaotic trading card is printed with a unique alphanumeric code that enables Chaotic players to upload their personal card collection onto the Chaotic Website, www.ChaoticGame.com. Additionally, the Website features interactive game play functionality, a web-based trade sector (allowing users to trade their Chaotic Cards online with other players), Web-based messaging, forum discussions and more. Chaotic has already attracted legions of fans and the website has over 1.5 million registered users, who have collectively uploaded nearly 60 million cards to the Website. During 2008, Chaotic was the no. 1 selling trading card game in Canada and was among the top five trading card games sold at mass retailers in the U.S. “With Chaotic growing in popularity across the world, I’m confident that will be successful in building a strong platform for the brand in the German market,” said Sandra Vauthier-Cellier, Managing Director, 4Kids Entertainment International. |
