4Kids Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:KDE) has set up a joint venture with TC Digital Games LLC and Dracco Company Ltd. to manage EMEA operations for the Chaotic Trading Card Game (TCG).

The newly formed company, TC Digital International, Ltd., will have responsibility for sales and distribution, supply chain, marketing and communications and organised play in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the popular trading card game (TCG). TC Digital Games will continue to manufacture the TCG and manage the ChaoticGame.com Website from its U.S. base in San Diego, California.

Board Members of the new organization will include Sandra Vauthier-Cellier, Managing Director, 4Kids International; Bruce Foster, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, 4Kids Entertainment; Henrik Andersen, Managing Director, Dracco Scandinavia A/S and Bryan Gannon, President and Chief Executive Officer, TC Digital Games.

Day-to-day operations of the new company will be handled by Ms. Vauthier-Cellier, Managing Director, Mr. Andersen, International Sales Director, Olivia Mellett, Executive Director, Finance and Operations, 4Kids International, Ann Van Dam, Senior Brand Manager and Natasha Walker, Associate Supply Chain Manager, 4Kids International.

Chaotic is the first trading card property specifically designed to combine trading card game play with a unique online multiplayer video game experience. Each Chaotic trading card is printed with a unique alphanumeric code that enables players to upload their personal card collection onto the Chaotic Website, www.ChaoticGame.com. Additionally, the Website features interactive game play functionality, a Web-based trade sector (allowing users to trade their Chaotic Cards online with other players), Web-based messaging, forum discussions and more.

Chaotic is being rolled out across EMEA after firmly establishing itself in North America, where it has made a strong debut at retail. During 2008, Chaotic was the no. 1 selling TCG in Canada and was among the top five selling TCGs sold at mass retailers in the U.S.

“The new venture will allow for the more effective management of the Chaotic Trading Card Game across EMEA and enable the game to be driven forward in key European markets,” said Ms. Vauthier-Cellier.
