About Juicy Lucy Designs:
“From Babies to Ladies for Fairies of All Ages”
First launched as a greeting card and gift range in 1998, the Juicy Lucy fairies and angels have established themselves as firm favourites across a wide customer base in the UK independent, gift and greetings market.
They have been successfully selling in the beautiful boutiques of the UK for over ten years as well as select high street stores such as Oasis, Crabtree & Evelyn, Selfridges, River Island and Paperchase.
The images on the cards, stationery and gift products are described as “quirky, fun and innocent”….but their sometimes naughty and tongue-in-cheek messages mean that they are loved by “fairies of all ages”. The brand is unique in its breadth of appeal.
Head fairy is Lucy Heavens, a primary school trained teacher who swopped her passion for childrens’ education for the “love, inspiration and laughter” of the little fairies and angels which inspire Juicy Lucy Designs. Lucy sees her work as “a celebration of life” and her delightful, fun illustrations of gorgeous fairies, angels and other tiny characters coupled with her smiley and sometimes very tongue-in-cheek humour and editorial are earning her a rapidly growing fan base.
Licensing developments commenced through Ignition Licensing in Spring 07 and have concentrated on adult gift related product and most recently complimentary childrens’ apparel and accessories. Lucy’s unique brand of fun imagery and humourous verse is also going down well in other parts of the world. Licensing Fairies are hard at work as we write in Australia, Korea and North America! |
