I/R Heli Mission – The “Mission” starts

At the beginning of September the “Heli Mission” by Silverlit is finally launched to the German market.

Buyers on the International Toy Fair considered the combination of radio-controlled truck and helicopter inside to be the Silverlit Highlight product of the year and an unparalleled RC package for unlimited play fun!

Now RC pilots jump all hurdles: When it’s impossible to advance further on ground – they simply open the truck’s tailboards to reveal the rising launch platform and continue mission by helicopter. Whether police goes on manhunt on ground or in the air, whether the fire brigade fight fire from above or the ADAC (The German Automobile Club) manage a disaster operation on the motorway – there is no limit to play scenarios with “Heli Mission”. Realistic flashing lights and sirens make playing even more authentic. All operations are controlled by only one remote control – just switch from truck to helicopter mode.

Silverlit support their latest “mission” in November and December with a large-scale TV advertising campaign on Super RTL, RTL 2 and Nickelodeon.

PicooZ XL Vortex – Silverlit technology at its best

Also “ready for take off” is the new RC controlled XL Helicopter Vortex.

The largest helicopter model from the legendary PicooZ series with 3-channel radio control comes with several special features.

An innovative flight stabilizing system and integrated piezo gyro provide the helicopter with excellent flight performance and keep the PicooZ XL Vortex steady even in adverse weather conditions. Equally innovative is the mix of materials – approved EPP and lightweight plastics for the airframe. Visual and haptic design has been enhanced while weight and stability remained unchanged. For all accustomed to Silverlit’s indoor- and outdoor models, the new XL Helicopter Vortex presents a new challenge. Due to their performance data the large helicopter is fit for outdoor use only and available in two different colours and with sub-channels. In addition to Lithium-Polymer high-performance accus the package also includes a battery charger with power supply unit.

PicooZ I/R Zbot – Robots come ..... flying

The new model “Zbot” of the PicooZ series is an aircraft of a special kind: “Disguised“ as a robot and equipped with the approved Silverlit co-axial rotor system the flying object is able to hover in midair. The 2-channel robot best takes off from a hand and convinces with sensational flight performance, due to ideal centre of gravity, perfect balance and the additional third rotor on the robot’s back for change of direction. The 2-channel flying object directly reacts to each command of the infrared remote control. Made of EPP in popular robot design the model proves to be really sturdy – and even survives occasional crash-downs. Simply readjust the double rotors and take off again. These features make the Zbot an absolute “must have” for child rooms in 2009, where hurdle flight competitions have become a new favourite game.
