Gormiti´s Worldwide Licensing And Merchandising Agents Network Expands

Giochi Preziosi and Marathon Media are pleased to announce that the agents network for Gormiti’s licensing and merchandising has truly reached a worldwide extension, thanks to the addition of Wild Pumpkin, recently appointed as Gormiti’s licensing and merchandising agent for Australia and New Zealand.

Wild Pumpkin is just the most recent addition to Gormiti already established European network of licensing and merchandising agents: Mediaset in Italy, Planeta Junior in Iberia and Greece, Plus Licens in Nordic countries and Eastern Europe, Telescreen in Benelux, The Licensing Company in UK, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

And in addition to the growing network of Agents outside of Europe: Angelotti in Brazil and Character Licensing and Marketing in South Africa. New appointments of agents will be announced in the coming months.

Gormiti TV series, the 52 x 26’ Giochi Preziosi & Marathon Media co-production, has been on air in Italy on broadcaster Mediaset since Autumn 2008 and has generated outstanding ratings. It will hit the screens in France (M6 and Canal J), Germany (RTL2), the UK (Nick Toons), Spain (RTVE & CN), Greece (Alter Channel), Turkey (Digi Turk), Israel (Noga) and in the Middle East (MBC) starting Autumn 2009. Further international broadcast sales will be announced in the next months.

International television and home entertainment rights to the Gormiti brand are handled by Zodiak Entertainment Distribution. Licensing and merchandising is managed by Marathon Media in France and Giochi Preziosi for the rest of the world, through a network of agents.
