ohm:tv Launches Loko Mobile Video Portal With Dutch Mobile Operator KPN

Mobile Entertainment Partnership with KPN in the Netherlands

Format sales and distribution company ohm:tv has extended its operations by launching its LOKO branded mobile VOD portal on Dutch Mobile Operator KPN, it was announced today by Hans Spielthenner, CEO and Co-Founder, ohm:tv.

Broadcast on TV, Web & Mobile, with its recently launched homepage www.loko.tv LOKO is dedicated to cutting edge cartoon comedy featuring the newest cult series from independent studios worldwide.

This deal widens ohm:tv’s distribution of mobile content in Europe which already includes partnerships with more than 20 mobile operators including TELIA SONERA in Sweden, Hutchinson 3G in Austria, Italy, Sweden and Denmark as well as Vodafone and Orange in selected territories. As part of its multi platform distribution strategy ohm:tv also offers a selection of its animation catalogue with major online video portals such as Youtube, Dailymotion and VUZE amongst others.

The branded VOD service will be accessible on KPN’s mobile portals http://m.kpnvandaag.nl and http://m.hi.nl in the section Radio/TV, the Loko Mobile video portal will offer KPN’s subscribers a wide range of short form animation series. Titles include hit animation series such as “Petey and Jaydee” from Momentum Studios, “Bernard” and “The Imp” from BRB, “Blood Red” from Zactoons and many more colourful and edgy animations.

KPN’s Callfactory has developed a mobile internet billing application, called Safeklick, that helps generate business on this rapidly evolving distribution channel which is now available with LOKO. Safeklick is a payment solution for mobile internet allowing customers to make payments for products and services. A single click arranges the entire payment, from charging your customers a phone bill or debiting their prepaid balance, to crediting the amount to their balance. Payments for transactions on mobile websites have never been easier.
