Leading production and distribution studio, 9 Story Entertainment has secured a commission from YTV in Canada for the production of their proprietary series Almost Naked Animals.. Based on the popular website of the same name, created by Noah Z. Jones, the animated series (52 x 11 min) is scheduled for a fall 2010 premiere. The all-new Almost Naked Animals is an irreverent, fast-paced series featuring free-spirited animals in their underwear that run a beach-front hotel like kids at a summer camp – and do their best to make each day more fun than the last. Lead dog and hotel manager, Howie, who has the attention span of an 11-year old in a video arcade, heads the dysfunctional but extremely humorous ensemble cast. “We are very excited to be commencing production on Almost Naked Animals. We spent a great deal of time in development, ensuring the characters, the pacing and the tone of the show was precise. It is extremely gratifying to see our work come to fruition and the end result is this high-quality, curiously funny animated property,” said 9 Story Entertainment’s CEO, Vince Commisso. “YTV is the perfect home for this uniquely entertaining series and its memorable characters.
