The 9th presentation of the LIMA Germany Awards was held as part of the annual LIMA Gala on November 4th at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, Germany. Again, the association’s members had cast their votes and decided on outstanding achievements in the licensing and merchandising industry in Germany. They recognized Hannah Montana as Best Overall License of the Year; Agency of the Year 2009 is Super RTL / RTL Disney Fernsehen GmbH & Co. KG. The SpongeBob Schwammkopf DHL-Paketset was announced Licensed Product of the Year and the Ed Hardy by Christian Audugier was honoured as Brand of the Year. Winner of the Retailer of the Year award was Müller Ltd. & Co. KG. The award Licensee of the Year goes to United Labels AG.
