Gormiti Licensing And Merchandising Programme Keeps Growing Throughout The World

Giochi Preziosi and Marathon Media are pleased to announce that the agents’ network for Gormiti’s licensing and merchandising has truly reached a worldwide expansion, thanks to three new additions: JTMG appointed as Gormiti’s Licensing and Merchandising agent for US and Canada, Sinerji, agent for Turkey and Yooka, agent for Israel JTMG, Sinerji and Yooka are the most recent additions to Gormiti’s already established European network of licensing and merchandising agents: Mediaset in Italy, Planeta Junior in Iberia and Greece, Plus Licens in the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe, Telescreen in the Benelux, The Licensing Company in the UK, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

And in addition to the growing network of Agents outside of Europe: Character Licensing and Marketing in South Africa, Wild Pumpkin’ in Australia and New Zealand,Tycoon Enterprise in Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Perù and Chile, IMC Licensing in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia, and Luiz Angelotti in Brazil. New appointments of agents will be announced soon.

Gormiti TV series, the 52 x 26’ Giochi Preziosi & Marathon Media co-production, has been on air in Italy on broadcaster Mediaset since Autumn 2008 and has generated outstanding ratings. Starting from early September, it has also hit the screens in France (M6 and Canal J),from early October in USA (Cartoon Network) with great results, and in Germany (RTL2), the UK (Nick Toons), Spain (RTVE & Cartoon Network), Greece (Alter Channel),and will start in Turkey (Digi Turk) in Autum 2009. In early 2010 in Israel (Noga), Brazil (Globo TV), the Middle East (MBC), Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia (TV3), and in Bulgaria (Nova TV). Further international broadcast sales will be announced in the next months.

The new agents will work together with local Toy distributors, GP US and Playmates in US, GP Turkey in Turkey and Illanit and PMI in Israel as well as the main players of the licensing market, to create full merchandising program dedicated to the hit property Gormiti! The Lords of Nature Returns.

International television and home entertainment rights to the Gormiti brand are handled by Zodiak Entertainment Distribution. Licensing and merchandising is managed by Marathon Media in France and Giochi Preziosi for the rest of the world, through a network of agents.
