Broad marketing campaign accompanying the broadcast of DINOSAUR KING

Flanking the rerun of season 1 of the animated TV-show DINOSAUR KING a marketing campaign in TV, online and in print media will generate more awareness within the young target group. The Grünwald based brand management and media company m4e AG is handling the property’s merchandising rights and the show will be broadcasted from 9. December on at 3:15 pm on RTL II.

By end of November a online PR and promotion campaign will be conducted, lasting several weeks and adressing family & kids websites, entertainment portals, lifestyle websites as well as special interest websites and communitites and video portals. Special features as e.g. a DINOSAUR KING ABC or dinosaur facts, sweepstakes, web games or trailer will be placed there. The brand will be additionally supported by various activities in social networks.

Print ads and editorial coverage in target group affine magazines such as “SpongeBob” or “Card Collector” in early December as well as TV spots at RTL II for Upper Deck’s toy line and SEGA’s Nintendo DS game will round up the marketing activities that include the on air promotion of the broadcaster.

The DINOSAUR KING toys are available exclusively since beginning of November at TOYS”R”US. Since spring 2009 the trading card game of the TV show is in stores and the Nintendo DS game which was launched in September 2008 is sold successfully. The DVDs by New KSM are also available since August 2009. Further products will follow beginning of 2010.

DINOSAUR KING was developed 2005 by SEGA and the property is already a huge success in Japan. Following the video games and trading card games, an animated TV show was produced in 2007 and is now successfully broadcasted on RTL II since August 2008.
