Nooka Inc. And NVCP Partner On Limited-Edition, High-End Wristwatches Featuring The MTV Streetmuse Designs

Nooka Inc., a New York-based fashion design brand, and Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) have teamed up to produce a line of limited-edition, high-end timepieces as part of MTV’s Streetmuse concept of fashion products. Available in November and born out of a desire to highlight unique urban landscapes around the world in a personal and graphic way, the new MTV products utilize the styles of two Nooka wristwatches—ZUB ZENH 20 and ZOT leather—and feature the cities of Berlin and Moscow.

Nooka and NVCP’s creative collaboration around MTV’s Streetmuse designs embraces the idea of universality and the influence of design on modern culture and reflects the attributes of both brands. For Nooka, universal language is a key element to the way in which the brand approaches its products and its overall focus on design. MTV is at the epicenter of youth culture around the world, with music at its core. The collection, for both men and women, will be available in key markets worldwide across Europe, Asia, southern Africa, the United States and Canada. The watches will be sold at mid-high tier department stores, specialty/boutiques and online at www.nooka.com, and will retail at $150-285USD.

The MTV Streetmuse design program takes inspiration from the urban wilderness of five of the world's cities. Each piece in the collection features fittings and fixtures from the everyday urban environments, aiming to highlight the subtle yet unique differences and similarities that all cities share.
