The countdown begins – from 7 to 18 December governmental representatives from 192 countries meet at the International Climate Conference in Copenhagen to negotiate the renewal of the climate agreement. But not only global powers are responsible for environmental issues. Natural disasters and climate change affect the lives of everyone: So everyone of us has to join in – only all people together can bring about the rebound – and it starts by doing small things. That’s why KOSMOS now released their experimental kits “Rette die Erde!” (Save the Earth!) to help children and their parents learn about environmental protection.
KOSMOS and their “Rette die Erde!” tackle different aspects of environmental protection. They tell about recycling and power saving as well as renewable energy technology and the consequences of climate change. This experimental kit for children makes otherwise complex and difficult topics easy to understand: Ice water basins help to simulate the melting of Antarctic ice. The experimental kit contains a solar cell, a motor, a compass, a thermometer, a magnifying glass and much more laboratory equipment. |
