Apparent Gravity Media’s (AGM) licensing momentum continues with a number of recent sales for its slate of cutting edge action/extreme sports and youth lifestyle programming. Chellozone’s Extreme Sports Channel has signed a multi-year, multi-property deal to license events, films and series through 2012. The Extreme deal includes an extension of Alli’s Dew Tour and Winter Dew Tour International Television Series through 2012. The series offers complete Dew Tour event highlights and celebrates the best moments, tricks and athlete insights from the leading Skate, BMX, FMX and Snowboard competitions. Newly licensed multi-year properties include the Maloof Money Cup, China Invitational and the annual Mavericks Big Wave Surf Contest. Additionally, Extreme Channel will be offering 16 films from award-winning adventure sports producers Teton Gravity Research as well as the spectacular half-hour adventure series UNTRACKED. “We are very pleased to continue and expand our relationship with Extreme Channel and their growing audience. As the leading 24/7 action sports channel in Europe and celebrating their 10th anniversary, Extreme Channel has the programming attitude and altitude advertisers want, and young audiences watch,” said AGM’s George Krieger. AGM has secured a multi-year license with ESPN Brazil for two Alli sports properties, Maloof Money Cup, the single richest event in Professional Skateboarding, and China Invitational, Alli’s annual international Skate and BMX event from Beijing. “ESPN has a rich connection with Actions Sports. We are thrilled to be involved in bringing two of the very best competitions in the category to Brazil,” said Krieger. |
