MARATHON MEDIA announces the appointment of new European agents for THE SADDLE CLUB

Marathon Media, the European Saddle Club licensing coordinator for the Australian producer Crawford Productions Pty, have appointed:

MENDIA LICENSING in Spain
GLAM in Germany
& CREATORS DOCK in the Netherlands
as the Merchandising & Licensing Agents for the Saddle Club.

They will be responsible for developing the merchandising rights to this popular girls TV series in their respective territories. Marathon Media welcomes the opportunity to help develop and build this timeless property with its universal appeal for girls and their passion for horses.

Following on from the French licensing success of the series - The Saddle Club is the fastest-growing horse brand in France - Marathon Media, the European coordinator, will announce soon the appointment of other new licensing partners for the key European territories for categories including toys & games, publishing, magazine, etc.., …

About the TV Series :
The series stars three heroines, Stevie, Carole and Lisa, who have formed The Saddle Club at the Pine Hollow Stables. Each character has a distinctly different personality but all share an equal love of horses and a strong loyalty to each other. Each of the episodes focuses on adventure and action but the emphasis is on relationships, as the girls deal with the challenges and issues of becoming teenagers.

The Saddle Club is co-produced by Crawford Productions Ptd Ltd and Protocol Entertainment Inc. The series (78 x30 min episodes over 3 series with great songs and music written specially for the show) premiered in 2006 on the ABC Network in Australia, YTV in Canada, Discovery Kids in the US, Gulli in France and PopGirl TV in the UK. It has been sold in more 50 countries across the globe and is attracting a growing fan base amongst girls 6-12 years.

The 3rd season, which launched very successfully in January 09, has also already been sold to the following territories: in Italy (RAI) – Spain (Disney channel), Norway (NRK Super) - Sweden (Barnkanalen) as well as the USA (PBS), Canada & Australia (Nine Network WIN). UK based Eaton Films distributes TV and HV rights ww excluding North America & Australia.
