Trade Mark Collections Ltd, Harper Collins and Artpeople A/S have joined the growing list of top licensees for Dinosaur King, part of 4Kids Entertainment International’s portfolio of brands.

Pursuant to the new deals, Trade Mark Collections Ltd will launch various bags and backpacks, as well as purses, wallets and umbrellas, across the UK and Ireland, whilst Harper Collins will publish a range of titles in the UK, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand - including story books, colouring and activity books, gift books, novelty books, annuals and novels. Artpeople A/S is set to launch storybooks in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

“Trade Mark Collections, Harper Collins and Artpeople are leaders in their respective industries and territories. We are very pleased to add them to the growing roster of licensees for this global property,” said Sandra Vauthier-Cellier, Managing Director, 4Kids Entertainment International.

The book deals build on a Dinosaur King publishing programme that started last September with the launch of the first official Dinosaur King magazine in France by the publisher Tournon. Top publishers Blue Ocean in Germany and Edizioni Playpress in Italy are also scheduled to launch their respective books and magazines in 2010.

The Dinosaur King brand continues to expand across the globe. The animated TV series is currently airing in more than 75 different countries, whilst the trading card game (TCG) from Upper Deck is establishing a strong worldwide audience, recently climbing into the Top 3 best-selling TCGs in the UK.

Dinosaur King chronicles the adventures of Max, Rex and Zoe, known as the ‘D Team’, who search the world for dinosaur cards that hold the power to bring dinosaurs back to life. The biggest challenge for the three young heroes is to find all the dinosaur cards before the villainous Alpha Gang.
