Woolf will take responsibility for all other licensing categories and will be tasked with expanding Target’s current international licensing business. Like Howells, whose previous roles include senior positions at 4Kids Entertainment and S4C International, Woolf has experience of the TV market as well as licensing. Prior to joining Target he was director of international licensing at kid’s channel Jetix, European licensing director at 4Kids Entertainment and spent over 12 years at Warner Bros. Helen Howells said: “I’m thrilled to be working with Richard again and delighted that an executive of his calibre has joined the Target team. While his primary focus will be to further grow the licensing division his understanding of the TV business will be an asset as Target continues to develop cross platform brands like Sky Babies and Brit Chicks”. Richard Woolf added: “I’m delighted to be joining Target Entertainment and look forward to helping them continue to grow the business. I’m especially looking forward to working on such a diverse portfolio of properties, there are many opportunities and I am keen to start exploiting them.” |
