VBSI takes Youthtopia study to ITB travel market
Using the theme of ‘Understanding the lucrative market of young adult travellers, how to connect with them and attract them to your destination’, Albertina Cabal, director of MTV Travel, and Lisa Cowie, head of MTV Youth Insight, will identify what is important to young people in Europe today, their hopes and dreams and the especially the importance of travel in their lives.
VBSI undertook the ambitious Youthtopia study last year to uncover youth values. Over three months it spoke to young people and to experts in the field, as well as conducting a survey with 7,000 15 to 34 year olds across Europe.
Among the insights, the study found that travel was a crucial part of the youth world and something they will not give up, regardless of the economic climate.
