Brand management company Target Entertainment Group’s main focus at Licensing International Expo (LIE) will be the prestigious PlayStation®, brand, available to license for the first time, plus a range of exciting PlayStation software IPs (Intellectual Properties).
The PlayStation® brand includes the PlayStation logo, the format logos: PS one®, PlayStation®2 (PS2™), PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) and PlayStation®3 (PS3™), DUALSHOCK®3 wireless controller designs and well known PlayStation symbols and phrases like ‘The Game is Just the Start’. Opportunities for licensing include stationary, apparel, bags, toiletries and homewares. |
Since LIE 2009, Target has signed a host of licensees for PlayStation IPs and will be looking to build on that success at this year’s event. Sackboy™, the cheeky, cool character from unique platform game LittleBigPlanet™ is proving to be particularly popular among licensees, with deals already signed for publishing, plush and accessories, adult and children’s clothing, posters and more. Additional opportunities for LittleBigPlanet include stationary, housewares and gifts. |

The focus for Invizimals - a unique monster hunting game for PSP™ - is collectables and trading cards. Target will also be looking to sign licensees for the critically acclaimed PlayStation franchises God of War® and Killzone®, plus ModNation the crazy karting game. |
Other properties Target will be representing at LIE include the fashion and lifestyle brand Brit Chicks, targeted at girls aged seven years and above, and pre-school animation Fluffy Gardens.
Attending LIE for Target will be Helen Howells, commercial director and Richard Woolf, director of licensing. Target will be operating from stand no 4080. |
