Jumbo Games, one of the leading manufacturers of children’s puzzles and games, are proud to announce a two year extension to their license deal for Peppa Pig. Building on the success of their previous ranges, Jumbo will continue to produce puzzles and games for the hugely popular pre-school property. Peppa Pig was the top property in Children’s Puzzles and Pre-school games for the full year 2009 (according to NPD) and Jumbo were the third best-selling licensee for Peppa Pig in 2009 (NPD 2009). Jumbo enjoyed considerable success with the Peppa Pig Tumble and Spin game (SRP £9.99) which was awarded Best New Children’s Game at Toy Fair 2009. The game also won a Silver Award at the prestigious Practical Pre-School Awards and was nominated as ‘a toy to watch out for at Christmas’ at the Dream Toys exhibition organised by the Toy Retailers Association. New developments for 2010 include the Peppa Pig Muddy Puddles game (SRP £7.99) where the main characters from the Peppa Pig stories race around the board to get home from school. The race is disrupted by Muddy Puddles, which are heavily featured in the TV series. The wide range of puzzles and games from Jumbo also include giant floor puzzles, a bumper pack of 6 puzzles in 1, dominoes and giant snakes and ladders.
