New children’s game by Selecta: "Picco Sortino"

Selecta - April 2010

What a mess! But thank goodness nimble pixies quickly put everything back in order.
Chaos and confusion don’t stand a chance against this little clean-up game!

With the new "Picco Sortino" by Marco Teubner Selecta tables a new little game for the very young (ages 3+) that makes great fun! Doing so, the game playfully teaches children that tidying up their room can definitely give them pleasure...
So much for the educational approach. The unique sorting game for up to four pixies supports their determination to end chaos in bathroom, kitchen, living room and child’s room.

However, they do not need a broom or vacuum cleaner; they just need a keen eye and their power of observation. Those who look closely and compare shapes and colours will be able to quickly clean away the mess. Pots and pans belong on the cooker in the kitchen; the teddy naturally goes into the child’s room – but what about the cushion? Why, the colour matches with the sofa! This way players tidy up four rooms in turns. Nimble pixies clean 16 different objects away. Doing so, they strictly follow the “colour-order” of the dice. The first to sort away all their things wins the game.

Elder pixies might want to play a more difficult variation of this funny sorting game. Object tiles are placed upside down and clean-up experts try to remember where which object is hidden. The little "Picco Sortino" game is hardly larger than a pocket book and a perfect small present. Why not try giving a game instead of chocolate? By the way, not only the game itself is small... the price is small, too! Picco Sortino is available throughout Germany at a SRP of only Euros 6.
