Braben wins pan-European brief for Brand Licensing Europe 2010

Brand Licensing Europe - April 2010

Brand Licensing Europe, the only pan-European event dedicated to licensing and brand extension, has awarded media specialist Braben its B2B PR brief for the 2010 show.

Braben’s brief for the campaign is to communicate the power of the licensing industry to the wider business community. Braben will develop Brand Licensing Europe’s social media campaign to ensure all touchpoints with the licensing community are working hard to promote the show and profile Brand Licensing Europe as the voice of the industry.

Brand Licensing Europe achieved record visitor and exhibitor numbers in 2009 with 4862* people attending the show in just two days. The show hosts the opportunity for brands including Manchester United Football Club, BBC Worldwide, Twentieth Century Fox, HIT Entertainment and licensing agencies to showcase new intellectual properties, promote their services and secure new licensing deals face to face. The show attracts brands and visitors from all over Europe and will take place at Olympia London from 28th to 30th September.

Matt Bourn, Managing Director of Braben said: Brand Licensing Europe is a business event that has all the flair, buzz and colour of a consumer show. The extraordinary growth the show has seen during tough economic times is impressive and we look forward to working on the 2010 show and being part of its continued success.”

Jessica Blue, Event Director at Brand Licensing Europe said: “We were very impressed with the multi-platform approach Braben took to our show’s PR campaign. Their strategy to grow the profile of Brand Licensing Europe as a brand with a new audience through traditional and new media channels struck a chord with our team and we look forward to an even more successful 2010 show.”
