The Russian media companies Noviy Disk and Marmelad Media have acquired from Telescreen B.V. all media and merchandising rights to the TV series and licencing brand DIBO – THE GIFT DRAGON for the Russian market. Telescreen, one of Benelux’ leading production-, distribution- and brand management companies, and subsidiary of the Grünwald-based m4e AG, will collaborate closely with both firms in exploiting all rights in Russia and the CIS states.
Noviy Disk, as one of the leading suppliers of video games and DVDs in Russia, will be responsible for the TV and home entertainment sectors (incl. VOD). Marmelad Media is the first Russian brand management company that offers all of its services and products from one source – from production to marketing and promotion. It intends to create a comprehensive programme of merchandising products. Marmelad Media became well-known in Russia through its successful GOGORIKI (Smeshariki) animated series that the company produced and marketed itself, and which became renown and much loved far beyond Russia’s borders. |
